Exploring Maine is a constant joy for Charlene who enjoys gardening, cooking, singing in the car and walking beaches & trails with their dogs, Cielo and Hoxley. Charlene brings over 30 years of experience in administrative, operations and customer service management in several diverse industries.
On land conservation: “I didn’t plan to move back to New England, but the landscape of Maine captured my heart. After living in Brooklyn, NY for over 13 years my spouse and I moved to Maine so we could explore Maine’s beautiful coast year-round. Climate change and access to the water for work, food, relaxation, and recreation are just some of many reasons why I believe we need to protect coastal land.”
On the job: Charlene is passionate about recognizing opportunities to streamline processes and systems. In the spirit of making connections and being of service to the organization, Charlene is responsible for managing projects across the Engagement Department’s teams, collaborating to find ways to solve increasingly complex problems.
