On Land Conservation: There is never a one size fits all approach to land conservation. We approach each project with a degree of customization that allows us to determine what the best conservation outcome is. Working forests, wildlife preserves, coastal access sites; all these play into the overall goal of combating climate change.

On the Job: Daniel works in MCHT’s Land Protection Department as the Midcoast Project Manager. He meets one-on-one with landowners looking to conserve their land through land sales, land donations, and conservation easements.  He is also the chair of 12 Rivers Conservation Initiative, a regional conservation partnership working to connect the natural landscapes of Midcoast Maine.
