Star Party at Woodward Point!
Join Maine Coast Heritage Trust and Southern Maine Astronomers for a night under the stars! We will convene at Woodward Point Preserve at 7 pm for a brief introduction to astronomy and a laser-tour of the visible constellations. We will then rotate through the telescope observing stations to search for a variety of deep sky objects – and planets (Jupiter and Saturn will be up!). Registration required.
What to Bring:
- Good walking shoes
- Layers, including gloves (it will get chilly out there!)
What to expect
