Lend us a hand in getting our new preserve up-and-running! Join us for a series of volunteer workdays at our Cousins River Marsh preserve in Yarmouth. No registration required – just come on by for however much time you are able to give. Registration encouraged.
During these workdays, we will be working on projects throughout the preserve area, including:
- Cutting barbed wire
- Building trails
- Picking up trash
- Clearing invasives
- …and more!
We will be meeting every other Wednesday starting May 10th through July 26. All are welcome! Equipment will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own tools if they have them.
What to Bring:
- Wear sturdy boots or hiking shoes, long-sleeved pants and shirts, and work gloves.
- Bug spray
- Sunscreen
- Water
- Snacks (some will be provided – please reach out in advance with any dietary restrictions that we should be aware of!)
