The Cousins River is a 4.7-mile-long, primarily tidal river in southern Maine forming much of the boundary between Freeport and Yarmouth. Currently Maine Coast Heritage Trust, Royal River Conservation Trust (RRCT), and Freeport Conservation Trust (FCT) are working together to conserve 220-acres on the river, protecting critical salt marsh and creating a new public preserve.
